Going to the museum every Saturday as a child created great memories for Holden. For holden the museum was a safe spot he could always go to and enjoy himself. Holden displays that his love for the museum when he says, “ It always smelled like it was raining outside, even if it wasn't, and you were in the only nice, dry, cosy place in the world.” To Holden the museum was a safe spot where he could go and escape all the chaos of the outside world.
