So one of the major conflicts that were written in this book was that he wanted to ditch the adults world and go to childhood. So basically what that means is that she didn't want to have any sexual encounter with anyone he wanted to treat them as a child instead. Another one of Holden's major conflicts revolves around his younger brother's death. So Holden looked up to Allie because Ally had extreme good nature and Holden was sorry that his parents have lost their better son. Holden would've got rid of this Allie death but his parents never took him to any counseling or professional help. Just the thought of someone dying and not be close to you anymore honestly too because I have gone through that my grandfather which I was really close to passed away and my brother he couldn't even see him and I was really devastated and the memory of him still haunts me today and it's six years later.
