Have you ever met a person and realized that they would become a big part of your life, and impact you immensely? Does this connection influence you in a beneficial way or a bad way? When you first meet a person, or try a new hobby for example, all you think about is what others around you are wondering . First impressions are important, but are you gonna let these thoughts affect you? This applies to so many types of interactions you have everyday and you don't even realize it.

Imagine being a young, homeless African American black teenager with little to no education, and minimal life skills. Michael Oher was stuck in an abusive home with his mother addicted to drugs and never giving him the love and attention he needed. Later on, a woman named Leigh Anne Tuony saw Michael walking down the streets in the pouring rain, and she knew that something had to be down. She soon offered him to stay at her house. At the beginning of this story you realize that Luis acts in inappropriate ways out of grief of his mother's death. His mother was his strength and she would always remind him about how much she loves him and how proud she was for him to be her son. For a long time Luis was very upset with his life, until a beautiful girl named Naomi walked into the junkyard asking for a hubcap. One special night, everything changed. Luis knew that Naomi had faith in him, which made him work hard to find that perfect cap. After hours of being on the hunt, he found it and delivered it to her ,he realized that this was the first good thing he has given to someone in a long time.
