A Catch 22 Shortly after moving, the Department of Social Services was telling me the only way I could continue to get cash assistance was if I go to a program called strive from 8am until 5pm or go back to work. This meant placing my children in daycare. Strive was this program that you go to where so called professionals teach you how to be job ready, but also talk to you like you aren’t shit. As a child both my parents had no other choice than to work, in order for our family to be able to afford our house, food, cars and all other necessary essentials. To save money my parents would take me and my sister, Maci, to our mother’s parents/our grandparents’ house every day for them to watch us, rather than sending and paying for us to attend a day care facility. In Missouri, daycare can cost anywhere from $455 to $575 a month therefore, my parents sending us to our grandparents saved them hundreds of dollars each month (Baby Cost, 2017). I spent every day with my grandparents and grow very close to them (Developmental Perspective). At my grandparents’ house, the first thing we would do almost every day was go to breakfast either at…

Barbara, as I have looked and pondered the concerns and emails given to me, I have come up with some key facts that will solve your problem. Prior to beginning I would like to address that what you are facing is not just an “accountant” problem but also a teamwork problem. What I mean by that is, you cant expect your company to progress or succeed when half of your workers are scared of working with their coworkers and the other half don’t care about their fellow team members in order to help out. It’s very easy to point fingers and state the issue is poor training but the true root of the problem is lack of team workmanship. Stating this I have come up with 4 recommendations on how to fix these issues, all which are ideas that have come from…
