Catawba Valley Medical Center Experience

During my internship, I was helping out in the NICU at Catawba Valley Medical Center. My shifts were scheduled every Monday from 9-1. I started my internship on July 19th, and my last day is August 7th.

Before I put any clothes in the washer, I made sure there was no big stains that needed to be sprayed with oxiclean. I’d turn the washer on and when it was finished, do the same thing again. Another thing I did was go to the

In my opinion, in this case Cedars-Sinai Medical center wins. Because the installation of the pace maker was a service provided by the medical center. The pacemaker was manufactured by American Technology Inc, hence this company should be held liable for any defect in its product. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center was not involved in either manufacturing or selling or distributing or testing of the pacemaker. So it is not liable for any injury caused to Frances Hector.…

During my internship at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center (STC), I gained more confidence in my decision in eventually pursuing a career in health care, either through being a researcher or a physician. I first started my internship at the University of Maryland STC in my senior year of high school as a requirement for my magnet program. The internship was a volunteer position but we performed basic tasks such as stocking each bay with supplies and saline solution, retrieving blood from the blood bank when needed, and providing blankets and socks for incoming patients.
