Conspiracy Theories Of The Illuminati Conspiracy

You see the numbers 666 and fear the devil, you notice a pentagram and imagine witchcraft, and with no doubt you associate the triangle formed by your hands with The Illuminati— an elite organization of leaders around the world. The Illuminati’s mysterious persona and ominous presence has turned into an enticing, yet fearful conspiracy theory around the world. I am going to discuss one of the most popular conspiracy theories of the 21st century regarding The Illuminati, or The New World Order, which is that globally known musician Beyoncé is a member of the Illuminati. This conspiracy theory is illogical because it incorporates conformation bias of conspiracy theorist, as well as lacks sound proof that Beyoncé’s career and family are influenced …show more content…
The Illuminati began as a secret society in Bavaria under the rule of Roman Catholic church. This small but powerful group opposed the Roman Catholic Church’s beliefs and wanted a small group of like-minded people. This international secretive group was soon exposed and their existence shortly thereafter became a mystery. Over time the idea of The Illuminati became distorted and turned into this devil worshipping group composed of members like the president or other public figures. The current day Illuminati is said to be working to form a collective group of individuals from across the world who promise they are just working to benefit the human race, in which “they have been entrusted to protect” (Illuminati Official). The certified website The Illuminati has published does little to support the idea that someone as influential and watched as Beyoncé could be a leader of the Illuminati. People want to believe this outrageous idea because they want to introduce drama and excitement into the celebrity conspiracy world, which in turn means accusing Beyoncé and her family of being followers of The New World …show more content…
Satanism is actually different than The Illuminati because The Illuminati doesn’t believe in one ruler. This idea of Satan is brought up because Beyoncé and Jay Z chose to name their daughter Blue Ivy. People of brought up how when written backward, Blue Ivy’s name spells out in Latin the name of the daughter of Lucifer, “Yvi Eulb.” This theory is incredibly offensive, as well untrue. A four-year old child is incapable of understanding and being a follower of Satanic beliefs. Even more of a disgrace, is accusing Blue Ivy’s name of meaning “Born Living Under Evil, Illuminati’s Very Youngest.” To create this outlandish theory based of a young girl is downright laughable because it is false that “there is more to this name than the usual Hollywood silliness” (Thomas). Celebrities are choosing abnormal and unique names for their children, and it is safe to say the name Blue Ivy can be included in that category. The idea that Beyoncé and Jay-Z named their child to honor Satan is also incorrect because they have both made statements about how important the color blue is to their family. Jay-Z has a custom blue SUV, Beyoncé enjoying the writings about the color blue by Rebecca Solnit, and the two of them deciding to purchase a registered hue of the color blue. Jay-Z, a world known performer, even titles one of his songs “JAY Z Blue”
