Who is Maggie from Cat On The Hot Tin Roof? Slander,gold digger , hypergamy , and strong all combine in just one woman. Can’t tell who she honestly is. She calls herself Cat in the ‘Cat on hot tin roof ’ because she thinks she is very ‘spiteful’. She is a really naive woman; her plan is to get rich and leave her past behind by having kids with her homosexual rich husband and becoming the new era.
Maggie , Bricks wife was an extremely known as a clever woman because she attended college and married to wealth. Maggie got married not because she really wanted to but because she was a cover up for her husband Brick of being homosexual. All of his family were unconscious of Brick being homosexual ,that is why he married Maggie.

She took every little rude comment Brick and some of his family would say to her. She was there for Brick on the hardest moments when all he did was drink because he was so depressed that his long lover Skipper had died. He would make really hard accusations to Maggie by blaming the death of his lover to her. She never broke down by hearing him say that because she loved him and was willing to still be there . When Maggie asked him for them to form a family in page he exclaimed “ why would you have kids from someone that can't even stand you?” .Maggie all she exclaimed was , that she actually loved him .If someone would tell that to their partner ,the love would totally vanished, because those words “can't even stand you” are really big words that would hurt someone in a flash. But maggie never broke down and she was still there for Brick knowing that he did not want a single thing with her.
At the end maggie was almost all the words is the alphabet and by that all words that described her ,but that was what made her stand up because she wasn’t like the other characters with just one alphabet letter
