The Logan family has done the right things and the bad things. Like a devil and an angel sitting on your shoulder telling you to do the right and the wrong things. The Logan’s are a black, southern family who lives in the heart of Mississippi during the Great Depression.

They faced many difficult things that they have to grow up and mature. They have gone through tough times with Mizz Lillian Jean. Cassie has been told to behave by big ma and other people from her family. The Logan’s get bullied and harassed by white people all the time. Cassie thinks it way unfair. She doesn’t get why the white people have to treat them like that. Stacy, Cassie’s brother gets why the white people do that. He gets that the white people treat them badly

In Strawberry Cassie ran into Mizz Lillian Jean.
