Casey Emergency Services Case Study

Casey Emergency Services needs to establish communications networks whether internally or externally. External networks would involve communication and collaboration wit h local social services (Fire department, Police, Ambulance), News media stations and The Bureau of Meteorology. Fire Department: The network with the Fire Department allow collaboration in assisting in rescue operations. Ambulance: Networking with the ambulance would help collaborate during disasters and hazards that threaten the region, and allow us access to medical supplies and equipment. Thus, communication between us would be needed to establish a system to keep us in the loop of tasks or meeting we must attended and any relevant information that needs to be passed around. Micah main job is to facilitate and manage relationships with various agencies in the region so any new developments would need to reported. He also has of late not been keeping up with regular work expectations the last 3 months and needs to be prompted to meet those expectations. Vincent is our communications manager thus he handles the communication and networks with different medias in the region, and handles the control of censorship and distribution of information. Communication with Vincent would be reporting any new developments of any contact with media, or discussing the use and limitation of handling information involving the organizations involvement in operations. Camille is our regional training manager for all volunteers in the region. Communication with Camille would involve the passing of a volunteer’s personal information and any reports about issues or progress in training.
