Some people recognize similarities between them and characters from movies that they watch or from books that they read. I strongly think that I share many similarities with the character Rudy from the movie Rudy, and I think we are alike in many ways. To begin with, in the movie, Rudy never gave up once and always gave one hundred percent of his effort when he played on the field. Also, like me, Rudy loved sports and was always focused on getting better, and it was easy to tell because of his devotion to sports. Finally, Rudy was always the hardest working and most determined person on the field.…

People often remark that my sisters, Olive and Ivy, seem very similar, but if one looks a little beneath the surface, the differences in personality between them become apparent. To start with, Olive is ten years old whereas Ivy is only three, so Olive is more mature, larger, and is more educated than Ivy. Olive is more stubborn and sassy, while Ivy is more cooperative and demure. For example, when it comes to bedtime, Olive will stay on her computer and complain when told to go to bed, but Ivy will listen the first time without talking back. Finally, Olive is short-tempered, while Ivy is more easy-going.…

Many people can relate to a movie character or a book character in some way or another. People may relate to a character through their appearance, others may relate through their personality. I can relate to Jess Bhamra from Bend It Like Beckam because we both like to play soccer, but we haven’t played on a team before, both of our dads are overprotective, and our sisters can both be trusted with secrets that we tell them. The first way I can relate to Jess is in that we both play soccer, but not on an actual team. In the movie, Jess plays soccer in the park with some boys that are close to her family.…

My two characters are Mitty Blake from “Code Orange” and Moose from “Al Capone does my Shirt”. If you know them, they wouldn't seem polar opposites or very alike. Actually, it is probably somewhere near the middle. In their respective books they are faced with many challenges in many different situations that seem crazy to compare. Mitty and Moose will be compared and contrasted in their hopes, unselfishness and love interest.…

As a child, having rules to follow wasn’t unheard of with my family. There was always a way to behavior with friends/family, at school, at home and out in the street.
