With the ten family core values Zappos is able to create a culture for their employees. They want to make sure that every employee understands that with great customer service it will provide better profits. In Hsieh CEO of Zappos own word he ties in “Happier employees,” he avowed, “lead to strong, nurturing relationships—and a more profitable business.” Zappos testing out a “holacracy” method of management over the traditional hierarchy of management. Hsieh wants to eliminate job titles and managers. Hsieh intends to use “holacracy” as “a system of self-organizing teams designed to simplify operations, streamline work flows and increase transparency-all in support of Zappos’ legendary customer service”(accenture). 2
