Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC) is a Christian liberal arts college located on the border of Wauwatosa and Milwaukee. The college began as a junior college in 1973 and has grown considerably since, receiving accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission’s North Central Association of Colleges and Schools in 2005. Affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, the college provides an education rooted in Christian principles to both men and women. The baccalaureate nursing program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. In 2010, WLC began offering degree completion programs and a Master of Arts in Education.
