Wheel of Fortune On Tour Review
We aren’t quite sure as to the reasons why, but no other TV show (or product license for that matter) has received more online slots adaptations than Wheel of Fortune. It seems that every couple of months a new Wheel of Fortune title hits online casinos around the world. Current holders of the license, IGT, has shown that they are willing to put the show’s likeness to work, with yet another Wheel of Fortune title now giving players plenty to think about. Wheel of Fortune On Tour is a new game that packs up the famous show and transports it to all four …show more content…
That being said, with Wheel of Fortune On Tour IGT are trying to squeeze every last ounce of fun from the license, but does the game really do enough to make players return to this much maligned series of games?
Hitting the open road
We have to call it like we like we see it sometimes, so it’s safe to say that Wheel of Fortune On Tour just doesn’t live up to other IGT games in the looks department. It’s also disappointing to see that the game doesn’t include an autospin feature or a turbo mode, as extras such as this would have given the base game of Wheel of Fortune a little extra zip. While the paylines aren’t adjustable either, so you are stuck with a minimum bet of 50.00 and a maximum bet of 25.000, with very little flexibility found in between.
Levelling up with a difference
The clear saving grace of Wheel of Fortune On Tour is its bonus features, as they simply don’t disappoint. What the game makes use of is modified charge bar, which allows players to progress through levels via standard gameplay. This mode, if you can call it that, is dubbed “Level Up Plus”, with it including extras such as ‘Bonus Trigger Boost’, ‘Spin to Win Bonus’, ‘Multiplied Spins’, ‘Letter Board Picker’, ‘Expanded Top Award’, and of course, ‘Free Play Free
