Case Study: URB-E

Improved Essays
Thank you for the opportunity to interview yesterday. Speaking with you helped me understand the dedication that you and the team has for creating products such as URB-E which serve those in urban communities.

So far, I think that URB-E has been doing a fantastic job engaging in sales and marketing campaigns that fit with the ideal clientele. Being able to intern at Urban626 will allow me to blossom and implement both my passion for sales and marketing and innovative mind-set. Initially, I would focus on marketing campaigns that are short and straight to the point, and relays a message about Urban626's values and the problems that it solves for society. The most impactful marketing campaigns I have seen are those that tell a story about the company, and explains the reasons why they exist. For example, Chipotle and their 'Back to the Start' campaign, which

Customers feeling the true weight and portability of the product can change their minds instantly from what they saw online or read in a Huffington Post article. A place I can see URB-E flourishing in is music festivals. As someone who attends many music festivals and concerts, I can see a festival type of environment being ideal to show people what URB-E is about and why they should get one. Showing demos at festivals such as Make Music Pasadena in June, Hard Summer Music Festival in July, and FYF Festival in August, are all incredible opportunities to have thousands of people see this awesome product. The clientele that URB-E attracts will be present at all of these events, and will get the brand to grow further across Los Angeles and the world. Also, instead of people sitting on their phones while waiting hours in line for a show, they can be testing an URB-E out, letting their friends know that this product exists and is cool and

Kate, you made some interesting points regarding the decision made by the NLRB. I particularly enjoyed your discussion regarding the stakeholders in this case. The players, coaches, and university itself are definitely the immediate stakeholders, as the case dealt with Northwestern solely. That being said, I agree with you that other NCAA FBS schools are stakeholders as well due to the fact that the decision could impact how other schools could potentially unionize. As for your discussion regarding the financial perspective of the decision, there are a couple points that I would like to add.…

As a result, we had no choice but to “blindly” follow the steps in the scenario. In addition, since we did not have a clear goal in mind for every task, we were not able to answer most of the questions until we have “completed” one walkthrough. The scenarios themselves also lack certain details. For example, in the login step, username and password were not specified in the scenario.…
