The goal pf Trader Joe's is to establish a personal relationship with their customers through quality products not found in other supermarkets as well as committed employees dedicated to enhancing customer service. In order to both maximize on potential profits while strengthening customer relationships, the organization of the sales floor is critical because a new lay-out plan would ultimately exploit the value of various products by introducing customers to a new variety of items that are new to the store or undervalued. As a result of this method, Trader Joe's is able to stock the shelves more efficiently by eliminating products that aren't selling well.
