Case Study: The Runaway Incident

This supplement is a record of my actions in this investigation.

On March 3, 2016, I was asked to follow up this case. This case involves Mr. Darling Ricardo Lozano Lopez who left home on January 11, 2016. I celled Ada Carolina Lopez (mother) and left various voicemail messages to call reference her son running away. On March 7, 2016, I stopped by T.C. Williams High School and spoke to S.R.O. West who explained that Mr. Lopez had been transferred out of district.
On March 8, 2016, I stopped at 3906 Old Dominion Boulevard Apt#12 and knocked on the door, but received no response.

On March 10, 2016, I spoke to Ada Carolina Lozano Lopez on the phone. She told me she was at work and unavailable to see me. Ada told me her son returned 2 days later and told her he did not want to school anymore and has been working since the runaway incident. I explained that I had to interview her son in order to remove him from N.CI.C. In the days to follow I called approximately 3 more times in attempts to convince Ada and her son to meet with me reference the runaway incident.

On March 23, 2016, I made contact with Ada Carolina Lopez who told me that they are both home at this moment. I responded to 8906 Old Dominion Boulevard Apt#12. Ada Carolina Lopez provided identification as requested. Darling Ricardo Lozano Lopez came from the bedroom

He secured work and has no interest in going back. He reported being gone for 2 days. Darling told me he just chilled and would not disclosed where he stayed. He has no medical issues or consumes any prescribed medications. Darling told me that no one hurt him, touched him or sexually assaulted him. He expressed no fears of being home and used the number 1 to describe his level of safety. Darling speaks to his friends and family if he has a problem. He denied any drug or alcohol consumption.
