The Problem Solver

One day a hero came to town and his name was the Problem Solver. The Problem Solver helps people with problems they face in their lives (usually problems that deal with numbers). He came to a new town called Zaberdale. Zaberdale was a small town in Kentucky that everybody was always happy and never had any problems. But one day that all changed. A evil villain named Mc.Evil came into Zaberdale and tried to cause any problem he could.

It was a exciting day for Zaberdale. It was the annual carnival. Everybody was running around town skipping and leaping because they were so happy. The town’s cook Ms.Baker was baking cookies like she does every year for the annual festival.. She was in the kitchen when she thought she heard

He asked her about the cookies and she told him about the cookies. She said that there were three sets of chocolate chip cookies and two sets of sugar cookies and that both of those cookies together add up to be forty cookies. There were six chocolate chip cookies in each set but she did not know how many cookies were in each set for the sugar cookies. The problem solver showed her how to solve this problem. He said that c would represent the chocolate chip cookies and s would represent the sugar cookies. That would be 3c+2s=40 and c=6 because that is how many are in the set for the chocolate chip cookies. Then all she has to do is use substitution to solve the equation. Ms.Baker thanked the Problem solver and started to solve the equation. She substitutes the six in and her problem was 3(6)+2s=40. When she multiplied the 3(6) she got 18 so she subtracted 18 off both sides and got 2s=22 and divided by two on both sides and got s=11. This means there were 11 sugar cookies in each …show more content…
There was games, contests and all sorts of other things. Everybody was scared that Mc.Evil would come and try to ruin the carnival but he did not. Probably because the Problem Solver scared him off. The carnival was almost over but there was still one thing left. Which was everybody’s favorite, the fireworks. It was almost time for the fireworks but somebody yelled out that they needed the Problem Solver. The Problem Solver ran over and Bob, who was incharge of the fireworks, asked the Problem solver if he could see when the two fireworks would intercept. Bob said the the height of the first firework was 4 meters and the drop was 8 kilograms. The height for the second firework was 6 meters and the drop was 12 kilograms (drop as in the distance it falls). X would represent the height and for the drop you do not put anything. So you would put plug 4x+8 and 6x+12 and plug those into y= on your calculator. If you look at the graph that shows up it says they intercept at

And since it was a nice day they would be going outside to the playground during science. So during writing, which is from 1:42 to 2:22, I had enough time to do my game assignment.…
