Jack’s attorney moved to dismiss the charges of the attempt murder of Bert on the ground that Jack could not have killed Bert due to the malfunctioning of his gun, I think that the court made a wrong decision because first of all Jack tried to murder Bert which is attempt of murder and Jack should do sometime in prison. Throughout the case the court should had found Jack guilty because if Jack’s gun did not jam he would of shoot and killed Bert which is 1st degree murder and that can sentence him 25 to life. The court should look at the case in many different many ways because let’s say perhaps if Jack killed Bert the court would have found him guilty but since Jack did not kill Bert the court found him innocent.
