For five months we have as a class have studied the homicide of Christopher Arnett. Chris was killed on May 18 2002 in CD’s party store by Jeff Ringel. Reading the case and learning every aspect about it for 5 months has taken quite a toll on me as well as the rest of the class. It has really made me look differently at people as well as law enforcement and life even. It has showed everyone including myself that this world is full of horrible people and these people are capable of doing horrible things. My whole world can change in the blink of an eye with one stupid act committed by someone. But one stupid act does not just affect me, it affects the people around me as well.
