- The Clean Brite Company (CBC), a cleaning product supplying company, they want to develop an Information System development function which serve for trading purposes like order, shipping, order tracking, backing up customer data,….. . Unfortunately, they have met so many difficulties in development, speciallity the lost of approximately £12 million for this I.T project. That caused the attack from the executive board, during 2013. There are many reasons, but the main is that end-user’s needs are not being met. So, Max Payne, the management consultant decided to recommend to use DSDM to solve not meeting end-user requirements problem.

DSDM’s one of agile methods which focus on delivering software product on time with the minimun amount of work. Although money is not their problem after the merger of SAL with CBC, it still helps a lot to reduce the meaningless cost of monney, remember that CBC lost £12 million for this project in just 3 years. This is a large project, but company had the meeting for gaining information about high-level requirements. They also provided clearly what function system must do in case study’s new system requirements visibly. With their staffs’s experience in RAD, they easily easily split into increments. One more thing, they also identified their user clearly in every area, for example: what kind of user (food processing industries, hotels, catering organisations, hospitals and public organisations, such as leisure centres and schools), what facility for user (telesales, web). Because CBC’s system is an Order Processing System, they have to face so many orders from customers. Definitely, The order’s number of products is different from each other. That causes the difference in the amount of money. System developer have to ensure that all orders will be solved fairly from the day, they are accepted, to the day, customer get their products. Absolutely not solve the work based on the amount of money.

. Knowing the status of order is one of the customer’s right that CBC supports. But, all they know just comes from what CBC shows on web or what the telesales staff says. They don’t know exactly what is happening to their order, specially customer who doesn’t have expierience. CBC have to show all information about order to customer honestly, absolutely not distorting.
