Overtime it has grown into what it is today. “We cover a variety of subject with some tried and true standards accompanied by new/rotating offerings.” Byrne states. “We consistently offer: acting classes for ages 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12; Integrated Arts-- a combination of theatre, music, and art focused on one area of study for ages 8-13; a teen Shakespeare Class, a teen Musical Theatre Class; and Adult Play Readings.” She states
Some of this year's new or rotating courses include “Noh, What!?” is an introduction to Japanese Noh Theatre. It will be every Thursday from July 14th to August 4th from 6:30 P.M. To 8:30 P.M and will open to those 13 and older.
Ever want to be in a flashmob? The Flashmob! is three day mini-course where students will practice a short, zany dance to accompany one of the hottest events of the summer. However where and when the performance will be is a secret. The course will be July 18 – 20 (Monday through Wednesday, plus additional optional meetings) 12PM – 2PM. It will be open for those 10 and over.
Just in time for the Summer Olympics, the “Integrated Arts: Brazil” course will provides students ages 8 through 13 a chance to learn about the Olympics hosts country vibrant theatre, music and art scene. At the end of the course will be performance ow what the students have learned. It will be from July 25 – August 5 (Monday through Friday for two weeks.
