Chick-Fil-A is the largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain in the United States, however CFA is limiting it self from reaching the full capacity of other chicken based fast food restaurants. Although they have a solid base here in the U.S. a company so successful could greatly benefit from a more diverse outlook. As of now, the company has no intentions of international expansion. CFA is also a Christian based company, and is very public about its beliefs; In fact it is the basis for which they attribute their success, and excellence.…

Technology has a monumental impact on society and in the way we live our day-to-day lives. Its simplified the most mundane tasks, such as making in-store purchases, by developing more innovative and effective ways to reduce our routinely and tiresome duties. For example, apps such as Google Wallet and Apple Pay, help consumers make transactions through their phones instead of swiping their credit cards. This new form of technology makes in-store transactions much easier and phone-friendly for end-users and companies alike. Food restaurants such as Chick-fil-A, have also jumped on this new innovative bandwagon by allowing customers to make in-restaurant purchases wirelessly through the Google Wallet and Apple Pay apps.…
Good evening Beverly, I love your company’s mission statement of prospering as they excel in customer service. I personally believe the two goes “hand in hand.” If the sales representative or associate establishes a great repore with the consumer naturally, the consumer will return and bring a friend. When I think of excellent customer service I immediately think of Chick Fil A. Because of their professionalism, service, and great tasting food I will stand in line or in my car for however long it takes to receive the service they provide.…
My response Individual differences among organizational development and their related approaches in terms of how they operate can be over whelming. The approach I think would benefit any organization in to develop comprehensive customer service training. This training should improve how the employee effectually enter act with the consumer/customer. The fastest way to poor sales is poor customer service. An unfavorable report or reputation would hurt your organizational brand.…
As the need for relevant information regarding a company’s financial position continues to escalate and business analysis becomes more complex, the requirement for organizations to produce both timely and accurate data is essential (Subramanyam, 2014). More specifically, analysts, investors, and creditors alike rely on figures from statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and statement of cash flows in an attempt to conduct both accounting and financial analysis (Subramanyam, 2014). Additionally, analysts also must take into account their evaluations regarding economic, sector, and industry trends in order to formulate accurate current and future assessments (Subramanyam, 2014). As such, the comparison of two predominant sporting goods retailers should cast light on the success patterns needed to survive in a highly volatile industry fixated on sales growth (Zucchi, 2015).…
Miranda Dykes MGMT 4513 Case Study Coors Brewing Company Overall performance is closely linked to a company’s operations and how they meet objectives to obtain certain outcomes. The story of Coors’ performance is told in Exhibits 9-10 in the Strategic Management textbook; despite increased capacity, operating income as percent of sales declined by 11% in 1985. Even more telling would be the changes in pure operating income across the industry. In those eight years Coors declined by 14.7%, while others like Heileman increased 168% and Anheuser-Busch increased 358%.…
Possible alternatives to solve the issues that Chick-fil-a are facing is first of all to open more locations than they have in the past especially in the west of the US. When opening more locations within the US, this can lead to more profits thus adding more capital to their budgets. Location openings can be within malls, outside stand alone locations, and college locations to help in the aid in building more relationships with athletics and increase capital. Since I have moved out to the west coast one of the hardest things was finding out that there was no Chick-fil-a close and I mean within 50 miles. Another issue Chick-fil-a is facing that may never change is political and societal views that are contradictory from their biblical beliefs.…

Fast Food Nation: Final Exam 1. Schlosser paints quite a dire picture for how teenage workers are treated in the fast food industry. He describes how teenage workers are force to work long hours, even 12-hour shifts, after school and on the weekend, often in robbery-prone conditions. To make matters worse, the fast food industry is process-oriented and requires very little learned skills which lessen the teenager ability to negotiate working hours, salary, or others working conditions. Schlosser noted how the part-time nature of fast food work, and the high turnover rates also gave the workers little negotiating ability (p. 75).…
