Re: Key Concepts of marketing and communication strategies that can apply to Steppingstone Theatre

1. Focus on selling and promoting the unique experiences that the children and students get from taking those theatrical classes
• The children’s experiences are intangible qualities that consumers, especially the parents, are looking for ; in this case, the main target audiences of Steppingstone Theatre are children and their parents. Thus, they definitely want to know how those experiences can affect their lives positively.
• While I am looking at Steppingstone Theatre’s website, they concentrate a lot on giving detailed information about those classes that they are offering

• Steppingstone Theatre has many theatrical productions annually, but their ticket prices only have difference between adults and seniors/students. As their website stated that they have around 430 seats , but they do not have a price differences between where the audience sits. Parents may want to purchase those seats that are closer to the stage to see their children’s performances. This does not meet the needs of their main targeted audiences.
3. Holding more public meetings with not only the staffs and board members but also invite the public to join the meeting
• Integrated Marketing Communication is a powerful and more efficient way to let the public believe the story that the organization is telling and create more chance for the public to understand the missions of the organizations and help them building trust and credibility among people .
• Through Steppingstone Theatre’s website, I cannot find any information about welcoming the public to join their board meetings, but they do have some media release; however, this cannot enhance the communication between the organization and the public
