Skill Development in Construction Industry : Skill development industry in India has seen a rapid growth in response to the urgent needs of the industry, as well as due to significant impetus provided by the government. The vocational training system under Ministry of Labour and Employment is one of the most comprehensive systems in the country. There are two aspects of this magnificent scheme-
• To provide vocational training to people through different MES (Modular Employable Skills) courses to horn their skills.
• To register institutions as VTP (Vocational Training Provider) for giving training. Vocational training for sustainable development given to the employees at Lanco Infratech will help by resulting in

One of the ways of achieving low carbon footprint of the process of construction would to be use eco-firnedly techniques and product eco-friendly buildings.
Few ways how a building can be made more eco-friendly are as follows:
• Programmable thermostats
• Water efficient plumbing fixtures
• Low VOCs in paints, carpets and other building materials
• Rooftop solar panels
• Landscaping with native plants and water conservation measures
• Increased insulation
• Protected green space
An eco-friendly building can help the environment in more ways than one, some of which are:
• Improved indoor air quality
• Improved health and comfort of residents
• Reduction of construction waste sent to landfills
• Minimized impact on the local infrastructure

The owner of an eco-friendly building or apartment gains multiple economic benefits like tax-rebates, lower operating costs and higher asset value.
Green buildings are, thus, not only a wiser alternative, they are also a more necessary choice that needs to be
