On May 28, 2017, I, Christopher Tener, was working as a police officer with the Wichita State University Police Department (WSUPD), Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas. At approximately 0401 hours, Wichita Police Department (WPD) 143C Officer Barry #2445 requested assistance and was approved by WPD Sergeant Padron #1722 with a disturbance with a weapon at 6140 East 21st North, Suite 200, Wichita KS 67208, Metro USA.
WSUPD Sergeant Turenne #135 radioed two WSUPD units were allowed to responds and myself and Officer Dickerson #155 radioed we would be responding. I switched over to WPD Northside and radioed I would be responding. It was requested for responding units to stage in the area across the street and wait for additional units to get there. While waiting across the street I notice several people outside but did not see a disturbance. After several units were in the staging area we drove across the street and began to check the parking lot looking for a disturbance. We got back to the front of the club and watched as the patrons began to leave the club. Sergeant Padron then requested for Officers to stop a sliver Dodge 4 door car leaving the parking lot. The vehicle exited the parking lot and turned right onto 21st street heading towards Oliver. I got back to my vehicle and began to travel on west on
