Introduction
Most of the time companies that put their focus or prioritize innovation result on persuasive products and services year after year and this could be very beneficial for the company as a whole. Looking at today’s most successful companies, management innovation plays a huge role in company’s potential growth which empower to forestall market needs and develop even further the ability to innovate. Besides all, Tesla considers its company not just as an automaker, but also as a technology and design enterprise with an emphasis on energy innovation (Tesla, 2017).
Moving further, Tesla had an increase on both sales and market capitalization year from year. It is very important the fact that Tesla's market capitalization is now bigger than General Motors', making it the largest U.S. based automaker by that metric (Ferris, 2017). Looking at the graph we can see that market capitalization was way below compared to that of the General Motors but in 2017 this situation has changed in favor of Tesla Company and become the most valuable US automaker. …show more content…
For the primary sources, we will try to have a skype interview in any Tesla’s store. During this interview they will explain to us how direct selling at Tesla works and they will present the advantages and challenges that Tesla has. All the information that we will get would allows us to understand the direct selling that Tesla uses and the company in general.
In addition to the interviews, we also will use secondary sources. We will search for more information online and in newspaper articles. Many newspapers have written positively about Tesla’s growth but also negatively about their problems. We also found appropriate information in industry sources or in YouTube Tesla interviews and commentary videos. All those information would help us to compare what we will learn in interviews and what we could find online.
