In this time period people made different technologies for different uses. Three things that are very useful are the compass, caravan, and the plow. The compass was more useful for trading. It was used to tell basic location using North, South, East, and West. It made getting to a location for trade much easier. The caravan could’ve been used for both trade and agriculture. It made transporting products including crops much easier. It was basically more convenient. And the plow was for agriculture, it made it easier to get to the more fertile soil.

One that people don’t know as much about is the spread and movement of crops, another is basic deforestation. Everyone knows that is people move they will take stuff with them that including crop seeds. If farmers want their product to sell they will it and see what works best. Deforestation happens because the people traveling get whatever plants or vegetation and use it on their journey or to make space for crops. Not only that, deforestation also happens due to animals over grazing in those areas. That is a reason the Sahara Desert is spreading pretty far out.
5. What were the linguistic effects of migration in the post -classical era?
Migration caused linguistic effects which at first didn’t try to assimilate. Cultures didn’t combine as well until merchants and other travelers did so. Merchants started learning new languages, and religions along the trade route. Some did so to reassure more trade with that language or religion. That is why there was many people migrating that knew many languages, specifically merchants. Languages were even created like Swahili.
