A. Roughed Up at Recess: Pg. 74-76
In the case study, the WITI-TV received multiple phone calls regarding children being bullied and "beaten up" by classmates on school playgrounds. After the reports had arose, a reporter by the name of Bob Segall began investigating the issue by conducting surveillance at one of the troubled schools. Segall was able to capture evidence of pysical abuse between children. After capturing footage, WITI-TV aired a story that was called, " Roughed Up at Recess." This video showed footage of kids kicking and hitting each other on the playground at many different schools. While the story was being broadcasted, many angry calls began to pour in into the station asking why the journalists did not interfere
