Riggerfish was designed to be an aid to teachers in the classroom by getting students interested in science and scientific inquiry. It was designed with science school standards in mind and while it wasn’t implemented in regular course rooms at the beginning, was not actively shunned by administration. Rather it was untested and with tightened curriculums coming, they couldn’t risk student progress over an unknown. This paper has provided target audience, environmental concerns, learning and performance objectives, selective learning activities and theory discussion.
