• Regional site visits were conducted to Northampton and Carnarvon in response to littering issues in Carnarvon. Information session and resources were provided to the nurse’s staff at Northampton/ Carnarvon Health Services, responsible for fitpacks distribution. The result of the correspondence with shire at Carnarvon revealed that it is a prerequisite to provide all the information pertaining to appropriate disposal and handling techniques to the shire when syringes are found by members of the public. The relevant information and posters has been provided to Shire and proposed to distribute the information through the appropriate channels and follow the recommended steps. Shire also anticipated providing NSP information on their website as
