Case Study: Regal Palms Resort

Improved Essays
My family and I checked into the Regal Palms Resort in Davenport, Florida on June 17, 2017 and checked out on June 23, 2017. During our stay at Regal Palms Resort we were assigned to three (3) different condos. Each condo we were assigned to had unresolved issues. The issues are as follow:
1st Condo: Wasn’t cleaned from the previous renters. The linens were in the bath tub, dishes were in the sink, and the condo was dirty.
2nd Condo: As we entered the condo we noticed the front burner on the stove was lifted. After taking a shower the water reached above our ankles and took more than an hour to drain. This left some of us having to wait to shower. Every mattresses in the condo had no cushion where we felt the springs as we slept.

ONCE FIREFIGHTERS had jimmied the door that July afternoon, the police squeezed into a beaten apartment groaning with possessions, a grotesque parody of the “lived-in” condition. Clearly, its occupant had been a hoarder. The officers from the 115th Precinct called the medical examiner’s office, which involves itself in suspicious deaths and unidentified bodies, and a medical legal investigator arrived. His task was to rule out foul play and look for evidence that could help locate the next of kin and identify the body.…
