In 1978, Northern Colorado community leaders founded Larimer County Partners, Inc. in response to the significant amount of youth recidivism in the Juvenile Justice system. The most significant difference between North Lawndale and Little Village that impacted the health of the community was the high crime rates and social interactions between community members.
