The chosen company would be PwC (Pricewaterhouse Coopers). Pwc is an multinational professional service network. Pwc is the world’s second largest professional service network. Pwc is also one of the big four auditors along with Deloitte, Ernest and Yong and KPMG.
PwC has become manufactured by the combination regarding two organizations — Price tag Waterhouse in addition to Coopers & Lybrand — each with traditional sources heading back some 150 decades. Lay out are some crucial milestones in the heritage regarding equally organizations.

Using headhunters will be a better option as compared to the conventional way of recruitment through jobstreet, monster, jobsdb and the newspaper as no high flyer will be looking at all this sources for a job change. By using multiple headhunter firm will give us a higher chance of hiring our best candidate to fill this position. The headhunter firms that are shortlisted for this job are Egon Zehnder International, Spencer Stuart and Aegis Recruitment. The reason that Egon Zehnder is chosen is due to fact that they have 420 consultants, 64 offices in 41 countries spanning across Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. With them operating in different continents the chance of us getting our desired candidate will be higher as compared to recruitment firm that only operates in one country. As for Spencer Stuart they are founded in 1956 and privately owned and not only the number of years that they have established their business they also have 55 offices in 30 countries and advisors worldwide. As for Aegis recruitment they are a Singapore based headhunting firm, we used Aegis is due to the fact that they are based in Singapore and they will be able to attract more local talent compared to the other 2 headhunting …show more content…
As the head of the department he will need to lead the whole department therefore he will need to demonstrate good knowledge in the field of work and his leadership skills. With him passing this leadership test we will then move on to his past achievements in his previous workplaces and his years of experience before moving on to the next segment of the interview. By passing both the previous test we will move on to the next test which will be his weakness and strength that he possesses. After identifying his weakness and strengths we will plan courses that will help him in area that he is slightly weaker in and help him enhance his strengths which were already identified during the interview. After the planning part we will ask him what can he and how can he contribute to the company and to the department as a whole. After all this we will also have a rough gauge on his personality and the way he carry himself as a senior management staff. After this we will conduct a personality test with him to get to know his personality better rather than have a rough gauge of his personality. After the interview we will do a reference check on him with his ex-companies and ex-colleges we will not on stop only over there we will also have to check his qualifications and does he have any
