Case Study: Permanency Court Hearing

Decent Essays
The GAO received the below emails from Mr John Salmons where he is expressing some concerns about his children being returned to their mother’s home. We understand through the below emails that Ms. Mr Salmons has also contacted you, Lori and Karen. Before the GAO responds, we would like to know if Mr. Salmons has been contacted by anyone in your office that she has contacted. By checking OR-KIDS, I found a Permanency Court Hearing dated on 03/08/2016. We understand that the case might have been very active since then, but because of this we do not have the most up-to-date information. We will appreciate if someone in your office can give us an update and the outcome after contact has been made.

Thank you for your assistance and any help

Going to trial with anyone has some drawbacks that need to be thought of first. For instance, it can be time consuming and exhausting, it can take up a lot of money hiring lawyers and filing court paperwork, and most importantly there is no guarantee that you will win your lawsuit even if you decided all these things were worth it. I think in this case I would recommend to Lorenzo to look into arbitration. Arbitration is a neutral third party that will hear both sides and impose a solution for the parties involved. The arbitrator decides the “award” for the parties involved which could be legally binding.…
