YD strength training center is a commercial facility founded by Dr.Zheng YuanDian, PT, DPT, PhD, MPH, MBA, SCS, CCS, CSCS*D, RCEP, FATPA, FNSCA, FACSM where we welcome people from all levels who wants to improve their strength by doing weightlifting, powerlifting or any other kinds of resistance training. This is a training-camp like facility rather than a traditional fitness room; this means we do not have any cardio machine or weight machine. When more and more traditional fitness facilities are found around our neighborhoods, we aim to the under-developed market in this field which is strength training especially weightlifting. We choose two top-quality brands to sever our clients, they are Cybex and and Eleiko. We have seven Cybex standalone weightlifting platforms in this facility. Each one of this is 71 inches to 92 inches, and deigned to survive heavy weight workouts. Four of them are on the left side with 3 feet between each other from the left bottom side to left upper close to the wall; two on the center of this facility that are 8 feet away from the locker room that allows clients to have plenty of space to walk around this facility; one on the right side between the area of locker room and restroom and close to the wall. Two power racks are located on the right upper side and provide multiple functions including stack the weights, pull up, rubber band variable exercises and others. A three-tier dumbbell rack that holds fifteen pairs of dumbbells from 10 lbs to 150 lbs with 10 lbs increment are on the upper side close to the wall of the main office. Five high-quality locking pressing benches can be found in this facilities that allow people to do exercises that require using a bench such as bench press or one-arm row. Beside these structural equipment, each platform has one 20 kg men’s training bar, two 140 kg disc sets that have two pair of each of 10-25 kg, one set of small rubber coat disc set that has one pair of each of 0.5-5kg and a pair of training collars; each power rack has same things expect using powerlifting discs that has three 140 …show more content…
There are two AED and First aid kit available in this facility, one is located in the front desk and one is in the office area, that both employees and clients can access them within 1 min walk. 2. Every employee in our facility is CPR and AED certified that can provide the basic life support to everyone in this facility. 3. Physicians that are from YD Sport and Medicine Center will review the safety of this facility every single month in order to make sure there is no any potential risk. 4. Two performance coaches are available to monitor the floor, provide the feedback to clients who may perform a certain movement incorrectly. 5. This facility has the cooperation with the clinic that are in the same building, in case of the emergency event happens, their physicians will arrive here within 5 minutes. We will refer this client to this clinic if he needs further medical examination. 6. In case of the fire emergency, clients can be easily evacuated since we have plenty space of passageway. 7. There are also fire equipment enough to meet the demand of NYS fire
