Case Study Of The New York Islanders

For this project I chose to go with the New York Islanders as my company. The Islanders are a professional hockey team currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. There are 2 facets of the organization that are driving factors in its success. The first is hockey operations and the other is the business operations. Business operations handles everything not related to the construction and maintenance of the hockey team. This would include facility management, customer satisfaction and transportation.
My area of study at SNHU is sports management which is why I chose the Islanders organization. They recently moved to Brooklyn and have faced many issues in their first year in their new home, the Barclays Center. “Obstructed sight lines and poor ice conditions
