The worker contacted Taneal Scroggins; who is the cousin of Mindy Scroggins. Ms. Scroggins stated “Mindy is a very loving and caring mother, but I know she can get overwhelmed having to do everything being a single mother, but I think she does a good job.” Ms. Scoggins stated “Ladarius is a very sweet boy but I know from Mindy he has some anger, but I’ve never seen him in that state. Mindy and the children are all very close and to another they’re very tight knit especially with Ladarius who watches out for siblings. Ms. Scroggins stated she didn’t have any safety concerns for the family and has never seen any inappropriate interactions with the family.
