Her systolic blood pressure is in the range of hypertension crisis since it is 182.…
Many women entering the workforce want something more than just a job that just pays the bills. They want a fulfilling, challenging career that is more than just a job. However, it can be a daunting prospect of entering a field that is male dominant. Women have come along way in opportunities available and equality, but many stereotypes still remain. If anyone can advise women concerning career choice, education, training, or for advancing in an established career, then Susan McGalla is the person to ask.…
4) What does Meng tzu mean by “a heart sensitive to the suffering of others?” Why does he claim that this defines our humanity, and why does it need to be developed if we are to be ethical or truly humane? What are the other three “seeds” which make up the “sensitive heart,” and how do they become developed? Why is the development of each a necessary part of humaneness?…
One of the most controversial homicide cases in US history was the case of Andrea Yates, who systematically drowned her five children in her home bathtub on June 20, 2001. Andrea’s trial was very long and difficult because it was hard to establish what the reasons were behind her killing her own children; to me a variety of different factors influenced Andrea and led her to commit this horrible act, there wasn’t just one reason. According to research Andrea had been bulimic and depressive as a teenager, despite her perfectionist traits and good performance as a student and daughter, Andrea had once spoke about suicide to a friend, which to me is an evident warning of a severe mental disorder, however; Andrea had seemed to overcome her disorders and signs of depression and took on a regular life and college career. While in college Andrea met who would later become her husband, Rusty Yates, who had been a devoted and serious Christian for a couple of years by this time.…
“Lesson Learned: Tips for Adult Students” by Suzanne Jackson discusses the process of applying to college as a older person to most students in college Suzanne Jackson claims man things; For example, she claims that any new college students should have an advisor. Then, Ms. Jackson claims that night classes are “older students friendly”. In addition, tips are stated in the article, helping new students avoid common pitfalls, and assist people on saving time when it comes to the process of colleges. I agree, Ms. Jackson’s mindset was superb, as she was applying for college. Ms. Jackson was ahead of the game, during the process, and could teach a class on this kind of subject.…
From reading the documents provided, one can see that the court case of Vincent Chin was an unjust ruling. Similar to the court cases that inspired the Civil Rights Movement and the #BlackLivesMatter Movement, the case of Vincent Chin was an important factor into launching the Asian Civil Rights movement. The Asian community needed this case as judicial fuel for they needed to be heard and they couldn’t hide from racial injustice any longer. The Asian community saw that it was unfair that Ronald Ebens and Michael Nitz got away from a 15 year sentence for killing Vincent Chin. Had Chin been a White American, the outcome of the beating and the verdict would have been different.…

Yvonne Moore-Is a non-traditional student who returned to school after 40 years in the belief she would obtain her accounting degree. Through her course of study, Yvonne discovered after working in the field of accounting for 30 plus years that accounting was not her passion. Yvonne now plans to work in the field of Social Work with troubled teens and adults with substance abuse issues and mental health issues. Her passion for all to know the saving grace of God led her to establish a ministry about 30 years ago, which allowed her to provide food for the homeless and smaller ministries that did not have the necessary staff to pick up perishable goods from vendors willing to donate. The ministry was established with this premise.…
I found a Chihuahua mix dog abandoned on a tropical island. She was abandoned about six months ago and is about ten months old now. She has not been spayed. I decided to bring her back to Buffalo with me. She stood out from the rest of the dogs and caught my attention right away because she was so little, about four to five pounds but seemed very smart and determined.…
There 's no doubt that I can relate and pity Susan Smith. She went through trauma, depression, and thoughts of suicide just because her life wasn 't perfect, or what she hoped it would 've been. Most of all, Susan and her husband, David, were going through a divorce. Divorcing is hard for both people, even if no one loves each other as much as before. Especially having young children who don 't understand the current situation makes it difficult, tiring, and more stress put onto the parents.…
I looked into each case below. The reason that both of these accounts are going down a tier-while their households appear to have over the 250,000 necessary for the banking rewards tier, is that Bank of America does the rewards by individual- not by the balance of the whole household. In the Janice Schier’s case, a large portion of the assets are titled in Michael’s name only, including both of his IRA’s- this does not count towards Janice’s balance. When calculating her rewards tier, all balances that were in her name only or jointly held with Michael are included, which gives her a three month trailing average of $168,000 (according to our back office)- qualifying her for the platinum honors tier (Michael will stay in the Banking Rewards…
I am writing to you with regard to Andrea Brown, who has requested that I write a letter of recommendation on her behalf. I have worked with Andrea for 2 years. Specifically, I am the assistant manager and Andrea’s supervisor. Andrea started with us as a temporary employee who continuously impressed me with her performance and interaction with our customers.…
Maggie Nichols, a former member of the United States National gymnastics team, current gymnast at the University of Oklahoma and an inspiration to all was like a normal teenager. That all changed when she was 15 (Time). During her elite training secessions she began to have pain in her lower back to the extent she was not able to simply touch her toes. It was 2015 when Maggie attended the Karolyi Ranch Olympic training when she was first violated. Her violator was her team physician, Dr. Larry Nassar (CBS News).…
1. Describe when and how applying for this executive director position became part of your life plan. Was it an unexpected development, a next logical step, or a long-held goal?
