CASE SUMMARY/SUPPORTING INFORMATION:
Oma, Genesh, and Selina Seenanan were placed in foster care in May of 2015 due to lack of supervision concerns regarding biological mother, Latchmi Rooplall. The children were assigned to the foster home of Ms. Seenanan …show more content…
Genesh is diagnosed with reactive airway disease since he is too young to be diagnosed with asthma; he uses a nebulizer to address his ailment. Oma and Selina are attending Public School 161 and they are in second and third grade respectfully. There are no school concerns or school related services for the children at this time. The children are receiving therapy on a weekly basis due to their reported exposure to domestic violence while residing with their biological parents. Bridges to Health (B2H) services was also recommended for the children.
The permanency planning goal for the children is return to parent. Biological mother, Ms. Rooplall, is reported partaking in her service plan and visiting with the children as recommended. The next permanency hearing is scheduled for November 9th, 2015.

Tyson-King stated that she observed Genesh’s injury and it was three pink linear marks which appeared to be more than just a superficial injury. Mrs. Tyson-King articulated that it appeared to be a recent injury, but it was in the healing stage. Mrs. Tyson-King voiced that the children were seen at the Child Advocacy Center (CAC), but she is unaware of what transpired during that visit. Mrs. Tyson-King added that Defective Delmore is also assigned to this case.
Mrs. Tyson-King stated that the children were replaced from Ms. Seenanan’s residence on September 16th, 2015 due to the concerns reported on both OSI investigations. In additional, there were previous concerns pertaining to Ms. Seenanan not following the agency medical protocol for foster children. Mrs. Tyson-King explained that Genesh was previously admitted to the hospital on two occasions due to his reactive airway disease. Ms. Seenanan was not bring Genesh to the doctor for his follow up appointments which was concerning for the
