I have enjoyed reading your discussion and I agree that the scope of practice should be clear and concise. Joy, I think it is great that you want to get involved in lobbing! To further comment on Sarah’s remark that the scope of practice should allow for amendments, scopes of practices for nurse are constantly being amended and changed. I sat on the Nevada State Board of Nursing Advisory Committee as a member for six years and that was a large part of the committee’s job. As you know, nothing stays the same.
