Case Study Of Roto World Dirk Koetter

Decent Essays
According to Roto World Dirk Koetter is currently a 3rd tier coach. If you take a closer look at the rankings he is actually next to last among coaches that were retained from the 2017 season; only beating Hue Jackson from the Browns (and 7 other newly hired head coaches who are unranked). Names like Todd Bowels, Vance Joseph, and Jay Gruden are supposedly better coaches than Koetter. While Koetter’s second year out of the gate left much to be desired, designating him to effectively only out rank a lowly Browns coach should make Koetter feel insulted.

Last year, Roto World had Koetter ranked 17th among NFL head coaches, which seemed to be a fairly accurate depiction of where he lifted the franchise to after two previous underwhelming seasons

Kansas City Chiefs (11-5) at Houston Texans (9-7) What a season it has been for the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs were left for dead after starting the season 1-5, averaging 21.2 points per game over their first six contests. Since the dreadful start, Kansas City closed the regular season with 10 straight wins and has averaged 27.8 points per game over that stretch. Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith and a stout Kansas City defense have been the primary reason for the team’s turnaround. Smith has been virtually error-free this season as he has turned the ball over just seven times while producing 22 touchdowns.…

When Kobe Bryant said he would forgo college and take his talents to the NBA the journey to greatness began. I think this is the only thing I didn't enjoy about Kobe Bryant's career when he was drafted 13th overall to the Charlotte Hornets then traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. One can only imagine what would've happened to the legend of Hornets basketball if that move was never made, but I digress it's fun to dream. He quickly became a Hollywood star transforming the Lakers organization once again. He helped the NBA transition from the tail end of Michael Jordan's career to the Kobe era and realize they would be just fine.…

To fix their issues behind center, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the Browns will try to trade for New England Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, depending on how their draft evaluations go over the next several weeks. But before we get into whether the Browns should trade for Garoppolo, let’s take a trip down memory lane and look at all of the quarterbacks the Browns have started since 1999. Successful quarterback play is essential to have a stable franchise, which the Browns have been anything but…
