Our company Replenish has one mission, to positively impact and change lives around the world. There are several ways that our company achieves our goals, however the main way is through spreading awareness and our product throughout the world. Replenish is a for profit company that has served the less fortunate people in rural Africa for the past five years by providing drinking straws that purify water, and by spreading awareness and education about the challenges faced by people to get access to purified water throughout Africa. Also Replenish’s business model allows our company to be able to not charge a dime from the people we provide aid towards. The filter is a portable water purifier, which can be used in any water source to provide clean and safe drinking water. Replenish’s founders set out to create a company that could not only change but also save lives as well in third World Countries. There …show more content…
In order to further help people in rural Africa, it was decided to base the country in Nigeria. This country was chosen because it has a more educated and willing workforce comparative to its neighboring countries, and constant health issues that need to be confronted. Alongside this, Nigeria was chosen because its location is quite close to the resources necessary to create the Replenish Straw, and because it is geographically located in the middle of most of the countries that Replenish works within. Replenish built its factory in Lagos, Nigeria due to the high population (7.8 million people) living within it.
