Mrs. Brown is a 80 year old female who presented to the ED via EMS for neighbors concerned about her sitting on her back porch for several hours yesterday and then continue to sit on her back porch in the rain. At the time of the assessment Mrs. Brown denies suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, and symptoms of psychosis. She expresses religious preoccupation. She reports a history of bipolar. She reports non compliance with medication. Mrs. Brown reports being placed inpatient at Thomasville in January, prescribed medication upon discharge, however did not comply with doctors order to take medication because she does not feel sick and believes "the lord has delivered her."
