PLP part three was an eye opening experience to say the least. For our group project we decided to go to the Michigan State Food Bank, located in Olin Health Center. Prior to arriving to Olin Health Center for our service project, our group had very little knowledge about the Food Bank, besides that it served food to people in need. After completing our short three hour shift at the Food Bank, our viewpoint of the Food Bank completely changed. The Michigan State Food Bank is nonetheless than a masterpiece of leadership. Little did our group know that we would get a small window of opportunity to be a part of an amazing student led organization.
