Positive impacts are that the pound rate will be due to fall, therefore, making the UK a more attractive tourist destination due to things such as accommodation seeming cheaper (Jackson 2017). However, the future of the hospitality industry is seen to not have enough staff to work after Brexit occurs. The hospitality sector depends on workers from fellow EU countries. According to KPMG report Three-quarters of waitstaff, a quarter of chefs and 37% of housekeeping staff working in Britain are from other countries in the EU. This implies the recruitment of new employment is going to being difficult as well as having skilled staff to work within the industry. In addition to this supplier contracts will have to be renewed, as the UK economy will have new trading policies comparison to current regulation within the EU.
