Obesity may be endogenous or exogenous in nature. Exogenous obesity arises from a sustained energy imbalance and a variety of other factors involved in its development: genetic, behavioral, cultural, environmental, and economic [sup][1] . Endogenous obesity is in some cases regarded as a risk factor and in others as a disease in itself. There is a growing body of evidence of the impact of obesity in many disorders, including cardiovascular disease, type-2 diabetes, osteoarthritis, and even some types of cancer [sup][2] ." Treatment Adherence to Treatment Process Misty is adhering to her treatment process in every aspect at this point mainly because she needed help and is now receiving help in many aspects of her once chaotic life. According to Taylor (2012), good communication with physicians and specialists increases the likelihood of adherence because this allows the patient to understand and comply rather than feeling like they are just blindly following orders without understanding the end result. Communication Improvement At this point in Misty 's treatment program she is doing well with no issues with communication however with weekly check up, therapy appointments, and doctors sharing files there are many precautions setup to keep Misty from losing communication and help as
