The purpose of this partnership is to help individuals experiencing poverty develop a sense of self-worth while also learning a trade. As The Hope Center, we are called to take charge within the city of Wilmington, not relying on city, state or federal government, to feed, house, or hire children of God. We feel that it’s our responsibility to lead the charge and show the love of Christ through real and tangible ways. Tucker Kelly and Brandon Pitzen from Hammocks for Hope will train individuals how to sew, inspect and package the hammocks.
