Grand Canyon University and the College of Nursing adds its Christian values to the many essentials laid out by the AACN. All of these establishments have set out to develop strong nursing leaders that use evidenced-based research to promote health, and improve the quality and safety of care but Grand Canyon University looks to additionally develop leaders with Christian values. These Christian values are some of the same qualities we look for in nurses. Qualities such as; empathy compassion and respect for others.

One of the reasons I chose Grand Canyon University is because it fits both the needs of my core beliefs and my vision for personal growth as well as their alignment with the educational parameters set forth by the AACN. Grand
