There has been presented a case of a 30-year old woman called Fatima who is a single mother in charge of two children and for this reason, she has to work most of the time without taking a rest. In the case presented, although Fatima does not have negative health behaviors like smoking-principally because all the money she gets goes to her children- her diet is not precisely the adequate one. These factors have contributed to deteriorating her life to the extent that now she suffers from hypertension.

Taking the case of Fatima, she might have different cognitions, risk perception; different behavior influenced by her beliefs and the set of these factors will determine the way of facing her illness.
