Nowadays, all the educational organizations are trying to use a variety of learning support to ensure that the students get the best education. In this day and age, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) is one of the best universities in the education industry. In addition, ERAU has provided a collection of learning supports such as computer labs, tutoring, and a variety of studying places. Indeed, the level ERAU reach forces them to provide high-quality services for students. Unfortunately, supervisors at this university focused on the quantity, not the quality. First, the number of the tutors at ERAU is limited and not enough for the students’ need. For example, there is only one tutor for all business majors. With all respect to the university, how can one tutor help management, finance, and marketing students at the same time? Next, ERAU prepared a small area for the tutoring center. This can be seen, there are four classrooms at the college of art and science (COAS) that serve all the learner. Last, the work time of the tutoring center is an obstacle facing the students at ERAU. Tutoring center at COAS is close at the weekends, while most of the students do their assignments at that time. On the other hand, some learners think that the tutoring center at COAS is acceptable. They see the amount of the tutors is sufficient. They say if any student does not want to wait he or she could take an appointment for tutoring. Also, ERAU provides the tutoring place according to the needs of the students exactly. Last but not least, tutoring center is available to students from 10AM until 9PM on weekdays, which help the learners enough. However, sometimes students want the see a tutor as soon as possible. Plus, logically you can not serve physics, chemistry, mathematics, writing, business, and engineering tutoring in four classrooms. Most of the technologies depend on the internet. ERAU has a bad internet serves on the campus. For instance, most of the students complaining that the internet is slow and it does not cover all the camps area. Another technology issue is the computer labs. On one hand, there is a computer lab in each college at ERAU. On the other hand, all computers are slow and old. There are those who argue that ERAU does their best to provide better technology to learners. Slow internet is an issue facing all the world in the 21st century. Also, sometimes universities have to take the quantity over the quality. Nevertheless, ERAU serves most of its education online, so they must support that with fast internet. As mention, online education shall have newer computers that the old computer that ERAU has now. Finally, ERAU takes a high tuition, so that force them to give a high-quality technology. In conclusion, library, tutoring, and technology are issues at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University need to improve. The Hunt library at ERAU is not efficiently and have many matters. Because of the existing problems in the tutoring center, it makes the tutoring center ineffectively to students. Plus, the students believe that they deserve better technology at the university.
